30 Days of Thanks - Day 8
I am thankful for our hot tub. It's great to be able to climb in on a cold evening and just relax and visit with my honey. Or to soak sore muscles after a run. Or for the boys to "swim around" in on a freezing cold day. Sometimes we all get in together and just hang out.

30 Days of Thanks - Day 7
I am thankful for the friends the Lord has brought into my life. I have made some wonderful new friends the past couple of years, and have been blessed with some wonderful longterm friendships.

30 Days of Thanks - Day 6
I am thankful for my step-daughter, Morgan. So often she has another perspective on things that cause me to think of things another way, whether I agree with her or not. She has such a big heart to help others and stop their hurting.
*and I can't seem to find a decent picture of her right now*

30 Days of Thanks - Day 5
I am thankful for my third born son, DL. He loves to study the scriptures, learn new things, play games, and do card tricks. I love his kind heart and how he enjoys making us all laugh.

30 Days of Thanks - Day 4
I am thankful for my second born son, LM. He has such a heart for justice and all things that are morally right. He never ceases to amaze me with the information he absorbs and his desire to learn.

30 Days of Thanks
I'm a little late in starting, so I'll post 3 today.
1. I'm so thankful for my Savior who died for my sins and rose again on the 3rd day. I can't imagine living without Him.
2. I am thankful for my wonderful husband. He works so hard to provide for our family so that I can stay home and school our boys. He has a heart to serve others with his talents. I have seen him grow tremendously in his relationship with the Lord the past 2 years.
3. My first born son, LV. He is growing in his skills as a leader, and has become such a help to me. I love his smiling face, and his love of life.

Easter (mostly in pictures)
Saturday we dyed eggs. The boys wrote a name or attribute of Jesus on each egg.

The orange one says, "knocked the Roman soldiers over." Yep. That's LM's.
We went to church in the evening, just like most Saturdays.
Sunday morning H had to be at all 4 services at church. I let the boys do a small egg hunt inside.
Then outside to check the tomb.
HE IS RISEN!!!
Making Resurrection Rolls.
When H got home we did our Easter Walk.
Each of the boys took a turn to read. Even LM.

They found eggs with scripture references to read, eggs with candy, and more candy!

With a final stop at the empty tomb.
Then it was time to go visit with family and play with cousins.

A great day. New traditions started. Memories made. Celebrating our risen Savior!
